✔ Information Security Management Certification will be advantageous

💼 Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead and oversee critical Cyber Security Infrastructure Services for the City of Cape Town. Key duties include:
🔹 Deploying and managing the City’s Cyber Security Programme, including:
- Network Security (Firewall, IPS, SWG)
- Application Delivery Controllers & Web Application Firewall (WAF)
- Endpoint Management
- Identity Lifecycle Management
- Cyber Incident Management
🔹 Participating in key governance and security committees such as:
- POPIA Incident Response Committee
- Business Continuity Committee
- Risk Committee
- Data Working Group
🔹 Ensuring compliance with international standards like ISO27001
🔹 Evaluating and responding to security incidents across IT infrastructure
🔹 Translating corporate security objectives into operational cyber security strategies
🔹 Reporting operational security status and threat posture to senior leadership
🔹 Managing projects, procurement, contracts, and cybersecurity budgets
