✔ Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent qualification
✔ Previous experience in a managerial retail position
✔ Computer literacy (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Teams or Zoom)
✔ Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and stock takes
✔ Ability to move between stores when required
✔ Physically capable of performing hands-on retail tasks

🧑💼 Key Responsibilities
👥 Customer Experience
Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently delivered
Handle customer queries and promote products and services
Ensure visual merchandising (VM) standards are maintained
Execute store plans and promotional campaigns
People Management
Assist the Store Manager with staff supervision and development
Help recruit new employees according to company policies
Identify staff training and development opportunities
Assist with performance management and talent development
📦 Store Operations & Stock Control
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Manage daily administration such as staff scheduling, invoices, pricing, banking, and expense control
Ensure merchandise is received, packed, displayed, and merchandised correctly
Monitor product quality and minimize shrinkage
Ensure OHS safety standards are always followed
📈 Sales & Promotions
Drive sales performance and meet store budgets
Implement promotions, markdowns, and retail campaigns
Monitor turnover and customer participation in promotions
