To qualify for this opportunity, candidates should meet the following:
✔ Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent
✔ Post-Matric qualification in General Management (advantageous)
✔ Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Mid-Management role
✔ Grade B PSIRA Certificate
✔ Valid Driver’s License
✔ Firearm Competency (Business Purposes)
✔ Grade B Security Certificate (existing or obtainable on appointment)

🛠 Key Responsibilities
📊 Strategy & Crime Prevention
Develop and implement pro-active security strategies including patrols, operations, and visibility drives.
Identify crime trends and coordinate special operations to combat them.
Conduct quarterly security risk assessments and propose safety solutions.
Drive crime reduction initiatives and measure improvements through reports and performance metrics.
🤝 SAPS & Community Collaboration
Build strong working relationships with South African Police Service representatives.
Participate in community safety initiatives, roadblocks, and joint operations.
Attend CPF and security meetings with branch management teams.
👥 Customer Service & Client Engagement
Ensure operational communication channels like WhatsApp groups are managed effectively.
Provide feedback and monthly reports to stakeholders.
Attend serious incidents personally and support clients with security solutions.
🎓 Staff Training & Development
Coordinate training for reaction officers and LSS security staff.
Conduct continuous on-the-job evaluations and operational coaching.
Promote a pro-active security mindset among security personnel.
📈 Operational & Administrative Management
Manage response teams and service delivery performance.
Compile incident reports, operational statistics, and performance metrics.
Oversee fleet management, payroll, firearms logistics, compliance, and disciplinary processes.
Monitor staff performance, conduct appraisals, and support HR systems.
