Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) is currently recruiting for a General Assistant: Building & Facilities Maintenance at Bram Fischer International Airport in the Free State. If you are hands-on, technically minded, and ready to grow your career in infrastructure and facilities maintenance — this opportunity is for YOU!

🔧 Job Overview

Reporting to the Supervisor: Building Facilities and Maintenance, you will support maintenance operations to ensure airport infrastructure runs efficiently and safely.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in root cause analysis for maintenance issues

  • Conduct audits and monitor adherence to operational standards

  • Execute safe planned & unplanned maintenance activities

  • Assist with infrastructure maintenance & routine inspections

  • Support commissioning and testing of assets

  • Contribute to asset upgrade and replacement studies

  • Assist with maintenance planning & scheduling

  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations & SOPs

  • Engage with internal stakeholders for smooth operations

  • Identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving initiatives

🎯 Minimum Requirements

✔️ National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
✔️ Basic MS Office knowledge
✔️ Strong communication skills
✔️ English proficiency
✔️ Good interpersonal & listening skills
✔️ Ability to follow procedures
✔️ Results-driven mindset

📌 Shortlisted candidates must provide qualification proof and qualify for Top Security Clearance within 3 months.
