💼 What You'll Be Doing

As a Security Operations Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

✅ Monitoring security alerts using SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and other security platforms.

✅ Investigating and responding to cybersecurity incidents.

✅ Performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

✅ Managing security technologies including antivirus, DLP solutions, and firewalls.

✅ Ensuring compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST.

✅ Preparing security reports and documentation.

✅ Collaborating with IT teams to strengthen the company's cybersecurity posture.

✅ Delivering security awareness training to employees.

🎓 Minimum Requirements

Applicants should have:

✔️ Matric (Grade 12)

✔️ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

✔️ 3–5 years' experience in Security Operations or a similar cybersecurity role

✔️ Strong knowledge of:

  • SIEM

  • IDS/IPS

  • Firewalls

  • Antivirus solutions

  • Vulnerability Management

  • Network Security

  • Penetration Testing

  • Cybersecurity Compliance

⭐ Preferred Certifications

Having any of the following will be an advantage:

• CISSP

• CEH

• CompTIA Security+

• GSEC
