About the Creditors Clerk Position

The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for managing the full creditors function while ensuring supplier payments, reconciliations, and financial records are processed accurately and on time.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with numbers, have excellent organizational skills, and thrive in deadline-driven environments.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

As the Creditors Clerk, your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving supplier invoices and ensuring proper authorization.

  • Capturing invoices on the SAP system before month-end deadlines.

  • Reconciling creditor accounts monthly.

  • Performing weekly reconciliations for fuel creditors.

  • Communicating with suppliers to resolve account queries.

  • Managing creditor accounts and related administration.

  • Preparing and capturing creditor payments.

  • Filing financial documentation accurately.

  • Ensuring VAT is processed correctly.

  • Raising monthly accruals accurately.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants should have:

  • ✅ Matric Certificate.

  • ✅ Recognized Creditors Qualification.

  • ✅ Minimum of 3 years' creditors experience.

  • ✅ Strong knowledge of creditors reconciliations.

  • ✅ Experience using SAP.

  • ✅ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • ✅ Good MS Word and PowerPoint knowledge.

  • ✅ Strong numerical accuracy.
