🩺 Position: School Nurse

📍 Location: Ottery, Cape Town

Christel House is looking for a caring and proactive healthcare professional to support learners who may face health, emotional, or social challenges.

The school clinic supports Junior and High School learners dealing with issues such as:

  • Anxiety and emotional stress

  • Family relationship difficulties

  • Behavioural challenges

  • Trauma or family violence

  • General health and wellness needs

Working alongside psychosocial and education teams, the nurse will help ensure that learner-focused care aligns with the school’s mission of nurturing future leaders.

🎓 Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants should meet the following:

✔ Registered Professional Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with South African Nursing Council
✔ Valid SANC registration receipt
✔ Minimum 5 years nursing experience after enrolment
✔ Valid Driver’s License with practical driving experience
✔ Police clearance for working with learners
✔ Familiarity with child health services and South African healthcare regulations
✔ Experience in schools, healthcare facilities, NGOs, or community development
✔ Computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry systems or ERPs)
