🔎 Purpose of the Role

As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for performing minor repairs and general maintenance within the store. You will report directly to the Business Controller and ensure the safety, functionality, and high standards of the store facilities.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

✔️ Conduct general maintenance and minor repairs
✔️ Identify and report future facility improvements
✔️ Apply financial processes and control systems
✔️ Work closely with internal & external stakeholders
✔️ Support external contractors during maintenance overhauls
✔️ Draft reports on damaged installations to prevent accidents
✔️ Ensure safety of people and property
✔️ Manage work schedule based on urgency & priorities
✔️ Deliver high-quality workmanship at all times

🎓 Minimum Requirements

✅ Degree in Electricity and/or Plumbing
✅ At least 3 years’ experience in a retail store environment
✅ Strong knowledge of maintenance & facility upkeep
✅ Planning and organisational skills
✅ Service-driven attitude
✅ Good communication skills
✅ Excellent time management
