The UNISA Postgraduate Diploma & Honours Bursary is officially open and offers tuition-only funding to qualifying South African students.

📅 Application Window:
🟢 15 October 2025 – 19 December 2025
⚠️ Late, incomplete, emailed, or hand-delivered applications will NOT be accepted.

💡 What Is the UNISA PG Bursary About?

This bursary is designed to support UNISA alumni by covering tuition fees only, helping students register, progress, and complete their postgraduate qualifications successfully.

✔️ Available for Postgraduate Diploma (NQF Level 8)
✔️ Available for Honours Degrees
✔️ Funding is subject to academic performance & availability of funds

👩‍🎓 Who Can Apply?

You may apply if you are:

✅ A South African citizen
✅ A UNISA alumni student
✅ A new or returning UNISA PG bursary applicant
✅ An undergraduate (NQF Level 7) who completed a degree or advanced diploma by 31 January 2026 with 60% average
✅ A PG Diploma / Honours student with passed modules and required averages
✅ A temporary or fixed-term UNISA employee meeting criteria

🚫 Who Should NOT Apply?

❌ UNISA permanent staff
❌ International students
❌ PGCE, BTech, certificate or non-degree students
❌ Students who already completed an NQF Level 8–10 qualification
❌ Graduate School of Business Leadership PG Diploma students

💰 What Does the Bursary Cover?

✔️ Tuition fees ONLY
❌ No laptops, accommodation, textbooks or study materials
❌ No failed or repeated modules
✔️ Covers up to TWO consecutive years, subject to re-application

🎯 Priority is given to high-performing students (highest averages funded first).
