As the Product Destination Manager – East Africa, your primary purpose is to drive East African 3rd-party products and destinations to expand the Destination Management Company (DMC) offering. You will play a crucial role in aligning offerings with business strategies and contributing to the growth of FIT, Groups, and Owned Brands.

#### **Key Responsibilities:**

 * **Supplier & Partner Relations:** Coordinate relationships between sales teams, reservation managers, travel designers, and third-party suppliers. Negotiate rates, margins, and conditions to secure competitive pricing.

 * **Market Trends & Innovation:** Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to keep products innovative and competitive.

 * **Communication & Coordination:** Communicate product updates across divisions, assist with planning Fam Trips and workshops, and collaborate closely with training departments.

 * **Quality Assurance:** Vet services to ensure they meet Wilderness insurance guidelines and monitor supplier performance continuously.

### 📋 Candidate Profile & Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should bring a blend of strategic thinking, organizational prowess, and industry expertise:

 * **Experience:** 7–10 years of experience in the travel & tourism industry, with solid exposure to Southern and East African suppliers (operations or product development).

 * **Track Record:** Proven success in driving sales, revenue growth, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and agents.

 * **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AI tools, and working knowledge of booking/operating systems like TourPlan, Wilderness Window, or WISH.

 * **Essentials:** Must possess a valid passport, a valid driver’s license, and your own personal vehicle.

 * **Core Passion:** A genuine commitment to wildlife conservation and sustainable tourism.
