## 🚀 Key Responsibilities

As an Early Morning Customer Assistant in the Foods department, your duties will focus on maintaining high store standards and assisting shoppers:

 * **Customer Care:** Warmly greet shoppers, answer inquiries, and advise on product choices and promotions.

 * **Stock & Cold Chain Management:** Manage stock rotation, maintain cold chain standards, and replenish shelves accurately.

 * **Quality Control:** Identify quality concerns, isolate damaged goods, and assist with vendor returns.

 * **Merchandising:** Adhere strictly to planograms, gap policies, and maintain a clean, organized department.

 * **Shrinkage Control:** Report dishonest acts, manage stock losses, and follow security protocols.

## 📋 Minimum Requirements & Skills

### Requirements

 * **Education:** Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent NQF level.

 * **Digital Literacy:** Basic computer skills to handle routine tasks.

 * **Shift Flexibility:** Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and flexible shifts.

### Desired Attributes

 * Experience in food retail or customer service is advantageous.

 * Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and cold chain management.

 * Strong communication, numeracy, and literacy skills.
