### 🎯 Key Responsibilities
As the Stock Controller / Buyer, you will be the backbone of daily inventory and procurement workflows, ensuring maximum accuracy from orders to arrivals:
#### 📊 Stock Control & Inventory Support
* **Monitor & Optimize:** Track stock levels systematically to maintain sufficient inventory availability without overstocking.
* **Identify Metrics:** Spot stock shortages, slow-moving items, and variances early on.
* **Audit & Reconcile:** Support regular stocktakes, variance investigations, and update ERP systems accurately.
#### 🛍️ Procurement & Supplier Coordination
* **Purchase Orders:** Generate formal POs and actively follow up with suppliers on delivery dates.
* **Sourcing:** Reach out to suppliers for price quotations and compare costs to optimize budgeting.
* **Receipting & GRVs:** Coordinate physical deliveries, oversee incoming goods receipting, and process Goods Received Notes (GRVs) alongside financial invoice reconciliation.
* **Cross-Functional Teamwork:** Work tightly alongside the warehouse, logistics planning, and finance divisions.
### 🎓 Requirements & Qualifications
* **Education:** Matric certificate is essential. A Diploma or qualification in **Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics**, or a related field is highly advantageous.
* **Experience:** **1 to 3 years** of proven experience across stock control, procurement administration, inventory control, or junior buying roles.
* **Technical Skills:** Excellent Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy skills. Previous exposure to an **ERP system** is a massive plus!
* **Key Attributes:** Meticulous administrative accuracy, strong organizational habits, and top-tier interpersonal communication skills.
