### 💼 Job Overview & Remuneration

 * **Position:** Cargo Duty Manager (2 Positions)

 * **Locations:** George (Western Cape) & East London (Eastern Cape)

 * **Salary:** CTC R20,000.00 – R24,787.18 per month (Includes provident fund and medical insurance)

### 🎯 Key Responsibilities

As a Cargo Duty Manager, you will oversee day-to-day cargo operations, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure seamless movement of freight across the Air Cargo network. Your main duties will include:

 * **People Management:** Creating monthly shift rosters adhering to basic conditions of employment, tracking time/attendance, and maintaining employee discipline.

 * **Cargo & General Operations:** Conducting daily staff briefings, managing shift handovers, ensuring 100% screening/X-ray compliance, and compiling daily shift performance reports.

 * **Safety & Security:** Enforcing occupational health and safety regulations, investigating non-conformance incidents via IQSMS, and conducting daily security briefings.

 * **Equipment Serviceability:** Inspecting warehouse machinery daily to prevent injuries and coordinating with service providers for repairs.

 * **Customer Service:** Managing client complaints, providing status updates on cargo, and driving overall client satisfaction.

### 🎓 Minimum Requirements & Experience

To be considered for this elite role, you must meet the following criteria:

 * **Education:** Diploma in Supply Chain Management or an equivalent NQF Level 5 qualification.

 * **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the Airline or Freight industry.

 * **Licensing:** Valid Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport.

 * **Flexibility:** Available for shift work during operational hours, overtime, and national travel when required.

 * **Regulated Knowledge:** Exposure to or training in Dangerous Goods Category 6, AVSEC Level 3, Airside Induction, and Safety Management Systems is highly beneficial.
