You’ll work closely with the Dean of Student Affairs to:
Implement strategic goals aligned with university objectives
Provide input into long-term student development strategies
Lead initiatives across governance, student life, and career services
This role requires a strong ability to guide and structure student leadership:
Oversee student governance elections
Develop frameworks for student leadership structures
Promote inclusivity, diversity, and engagement
Organize student development workshops and programmes
Creating a vibrant campus culture is essential:
Plan and manage student events
Coordinate cultural and development programmes
Encourage student participation and engagement
Build partnerships with national and provincial student bodies
Help students transition into the workforce:
Design and oversee career development programmes
Promote employability and professional growth
Build relationships with stakeholders and employers
Support career education and outreach initiatives
You’ll also play a governance role:
Develop and implement policies
Ensure compliance with regulations
Monitor programme effectiveness
Improve systems through innovation and research
Leadership goes beyond strategy:
Manage and mentor staff
Oversee recruitment and performance management
Handle budgets, procurement, and financial planning
Ensure operational efficiency within your division

To qualify for this role, you’ll need:
A Master’s degree in a relevant field
At least 5 years of relevant experience (including supervisory roles)
Strong leadership and management skills
Computer literacy
A valid driver’s license
Flexibility to work outside standard hours
