π― Purpose of the Bursary
The Shoprite Bursary Programme is designed to attract and develop future Chartered Accountants who will join Shoprite’s Finance team after completing their studies.
Successful candidates will enter the Shoprite SAICA Trainee Accountant Programme, gaining:
Exposure across the commerce and retail industry
On-the-job training across multiple business divisions
Academic support aligned with SAICA learning outcomes
Mentorship from experienced Shoprite leaders
Preparation for the SAICA APC Exam

✅ Minimum Requirements
To qualify, you must:
Be a South African citizen
Be 27 years old or younger
Be studying towards:
BCom Accounting or
BAcc (CA Stream)
Be in 2nd, 3rd, 4th year, PGDA or CTA
Have a 65%+ academic average
