South African National Parks (SANParks) is currently recruiting a Room Attendant at the breathtaking Mapungubwe National Park & World Heritage Site. This is a golden opportunity to work in a world-class conservation environment while building your hospitality career.

Mapungubwe National Park – Limpopo

🧾 Minimum Requirements

To qualify, you should have:

  • Grade 12 plus 3 years practical experience in hospitality or tourist accommodation

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic customer service knowledge

  • Understanding of hygiene, safety & First Aid principles

  • Ability to work well within a team

  • Knowledge of tourism standards

  • A valid driver’s license (added advantage)

  • Room Attendant Certificate (added advantage)

🧹 Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Cleaning chalets, ablution blocks, campsites, offices & public areas

  • Maintaining cleanliness standards in reception areas & walkways

  • Reporting maintenance faults and abnormalities

  • Managing and controlling inventory & stock levels

  • Assisting with linen room duties and supply collection

  • Supporting other Room Attendants when required

  • Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisor

💰 Paterson Grade A3 salary, including SANParks benefits as per HR policies
