🌱 About the YES Initiative

Launched in 2018, the YES Initiative is a national partnership between government, labour, and the private sector. Its mission is to create economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by providing 12-month workplace opportunities that build skills, confidence, and employability.

🧑‍💼 About the Role

As a Recruitment Intern, you’ll work under the guidance of a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, supporting the recruitment team with essential HR and admin functions while living out the company’s values.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

✔ CV editing and formatting with strong attention to detail
✔ Uploading and managing candidate information on recruitment systems
✔ Scheduling interviews and maintaining recruitment calendars
✔ Assisting with candidate pools and job adverts
✔ Conducting reference and verification checks
✔ Handling consent forms, follow-ups, and verification invoices
✔ General HR administration, phone calls, and email communication
✔ Supporting ad-hoc recruitment and admin tasks as required

✅ Minimum Requirements

  • South African unemployed youth (18–34 years)

  • Must NOT have participated in the YES Programme before

  • Matric certificate

  • Qualification in HR or a related field
