💼 What You’ll Be Doing (Role Overview)

As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping procurement excellence by:

✅ Executing and aligning procurement strategies with business and category goals
✅ Managing end-to-end procurement processes, tenders, contracts, and supplier relationships
✅ Driving BBBEE procurement initiatives, compliance, reporting, and performance tracking
✅ Leading senior-level supplier negotiations and commercial contracting
✅ Creating and managing supplier databases, SLAs, and preferred supplier frameworks
✅ Delivering procurement savings, risk mitigation, and value across the value chain
✅ Supporting ESG, ISO 9001:2015 quality standards, and corporate governance
✅ Providing leadership, people management, and change management within the team

🎓 Minimum Requirements

✅ Work Experience

  • 8+ years procurement experience in a medium to large organisation

  • 3+ years BBBEE procurement experience

  • 4+ years senior-level negotiation and strategy delivery experience

🎓 Education

  • Degree in Procurement / Supply Chain / Related Field

  • CIPS qualification (Chartered Institution of Purchasing and Supply)
