Boxer Superstores is hiring a VAS Project Manager to lead exciting value-added service projects across its growing retail footprint.

This permanent role is based in Durban (Westville), KwaZulu-Natal, and offers the opportunity to work at the heart of one of South Africa’s most trusted retail brands.

💼 About the Role: VAS Project Manager

As a Value Added Services (VAS) Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in launching, upgrading, and managing service initiatives across Boxer stores. From new store openings to IT-driven innovations, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with Boxer’s values.

✅ Minimum Requirements

✔ Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Financial Management, or related field
✔ 3–5 years project management experience (retail or services preferred)
✔ Strong Microsoft Office skills & familiarity with project tools (e.g. Cube)
✔ Excellent communication, planning & stakeholder management skills
✔ Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
✔ Passion for innovation, structure, and customer service

🛠 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Lead VAS projects for new stores and refurbishments
🔹 Collaborate with IT & development teams on new technologies
🔹 Identify innovative business opportunities aligned with customer needs
🔹 Ensure site readiness and operational compliance
🔹 Manage suppliers and negotiate service agreements
🔹 Develop training manuals and user guides
🔹 Monitor project progress and report to stakeholders
