They are currently looking for a **Specialized Artisan, High Voltage (HV)** to join their team in the Surface Engineering Department at their world-class mining operations in Kolwezi, Democratic Republic of Congo.

This is a premier opportunity to work with one of the most significant copper projects in the industry, involving a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines, Zijin Mining Group, and the DRC Government.

### 🛠️ What You Will Do

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of electrical equipment ranging from **11kV to 220kV**. Your key activities will include:

 * Switching, isolating, and declaring electrical equipment safe.

 * Locating and repairing cable and overhead line faults.

 * Reading and interpreting complex electrical drawings.

 * Supervising teams of specialists to ensure optimal operational conditions.

 * Maintaining the electrical network and monitoring power management systems.

### 📋 What You Need to Apply

To be considered for this high-level position, you must meet the following criteria:

 * **Qualification:** Trade-tested Electrician.

 * **Certifications:** Medium Voltage training certificate is mandatory.

 * **Experience:** A minimum of **8 years of post-qualification experience** working in an electrical substation.

 * **Training:** Completed relevant safety and risk assessment training.

 * **Communication:** Proficiency in Business English is mandatory.
