🌿 What You’ll Do

As a General Worker, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across all ERWAT facilities — from treatment plants to control rooms. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Performing cleaning and housekeeping in operational areas and offices.

  • Maintaining equipment and grounds at water treatment sites.

  • Ensuring treatment units remain unclogged and running efficiently.

  • Handling sludge application safely according to procedures.

  • Removing algae, debris, and waste to keep operations smooth and compliant.

  • Following all safety and environmental protocols.

✅ Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Grade 8 (NQF Level 2) or N1 Qualification (NQF Level 2)

  • Eligibility: South African citizens or valid work permit holders

  • A positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to teamwork are essential.
