πΏ What You’ll Do
As a General Worker, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across all ERWAT facilities — from treatment plants to control rooms. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Performing cleaning and housekeeping in operational areas and offices.

Maintaining equipment and grounds at water treatment sites.

Ensuring treatment units remain unclogged and running efficiently.

Handling sludge application safely according to procedures.
-
Removing algae, debris, and waste to keep operations smooth and compliant.

Following all safety and environmental protocols.
✅ Minimum Requirements

Education: Grade 8 (NQF Level 2) or N1 Qualification (NQF Level 2)

Eligibility: South African citizens or valid work permit holders

A positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to teamwork are essential.
