# 🌱 Mpumalanga Learnership Opportunity 2025 – Get Paid to Train in Nature Conservation!

**Are you a young South African looking to kickstart your career in nature conservation?** The **Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA)** is calling all unemployed youth to apply for a **12-month Learnership Programme** in **Nature Conservation: Resource Guardianship (NQF Level 2)**.

## 📍 Base Stations & Monthly Stipend

Selected learners will be placed in **nature reserves across Mpumalanga**, and receive a **monthly stipend of R3,500**. A total of **52 positions** are available at the following reserves:

✅ Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve

✅ Songimvelo Nature Reserve

✅ Barberton, Graskop, Mabusa, Manyeleti & More!

## 🧠 What You’ll Learn & Do

* Assist in conservation and biodiversity management

* Help with fire management, plant propagation, and restoration

* Collect field data and maintain reserve infrastructure

* Promote environmental education in communities

* Gain real work experience with qualified trainers

## 📝 Who Can Apply?

To qualify, you must:

* Be **unemployed** and aged **18–35**

* Have a **Grade 12** certificate

* Reside in **Mpumalanga**

* Be passionate about the outdoors

* Have **no prior learnership registration**

* Be **not currently studying**

* Candidates with **disabilities** are strongly encouraged to apply!

Submit your **application letter** (mention the programme), **CV**, **Grade 12 certificate**, **valid proof of residence**, and **ID copy** to the **nearest MTPA Nature Reserve** or deliver by hand to:
