**Facilities Manager Job Opportunity at PUTCO – Apply by 25 June 2025**
Looking for an exciting leadership role in facilities management? PUTCO is hiring! A **Facilities Manager** position is now open at the **Greater Soweto Business Unit**, offering a great opportunity for individuals with solid experience in operations and facility upkeep.
**Minimum Requirements:**
* Grade 12 or equivalent (tertiary qualification is an advantage)
* 4–6 years’ experience in facilities management and contract administration
* 3–4 years’ management experience
* Technical knowledge in plumbing, electrical and general building maintenance
* Budgeting and financial management skills
* Computer literate (MS Office)
* Valid Driver’s Licence (Heavy Vehicle Licence is a plus)
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Oversee depot facility operations and ensure maintenance is up to standard
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Manage staff and coordinate cleaning, fuelling, bus washing, and yard maintenance
* Handle service level agreements, contracts, and audits
* Supervise planning and project execution within set timelines and budgets
**Working Conditions:**
* Travel to PUTCO operational areas may be required
* Be prepared to work long hours, weekends, and under pressure
