Artisan Turner Vacancy at Umfolozi Sugar Mill – Apply by 20 June 2025

Are you an experienced Artisan Turner looking for a new challenge in 2025? Umfolozi Sugar Mill (USM), based in Mtubatuba, KwaZulu-Natal, is hiring for a permanent **Artisan Turner - C2** position.

This is your chance to join a top-tier sugar producer that processes over 1.3 million tons of cane each season. USM offers a dynamic work environment, nestled near the iSimangaliso Wetland Park and the Hluhluwe Umfolozi Park.

**Minimum Requirements:**

* Matric with Maths and Science

* N4 in Mechanical Engineering or Fitting

* Recognized Trade Test Certificate in Fitting and Turning

* 5–8 years of industrial turning experience

* Ability to read engineering drawings and use milling/boring machines

* Computer literacy and knowledge of Maximo (planned maintenance system)

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Machine spares, bearings, keys, and shafts for pumps and other equipment

* Operate milling machines, bandsaws, and grinding tools

* Maintain and care for workshop machinery

* Support factory and external machining requirements
