Looking for a hands-on opportunity to join a reputable company in 2025? PUTCO has an exciting vacancy for a **General Cleaner** at their Greater Soweto Business Unit, reporting directly to the Site Controller in the Technical Department.

**Position Title:** General Cleaner

**Location:** Greater Soweto, Johannesburg

**Closing Date:** 27 June 2025

**Minimum Requirements:**

* Grade 12 (or equivalent)

* Experience in cleaning and general handy work

* Advantageous: Exposure to workshop and office environments

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Clean ablution facilities, change rooms, and offices

* Maintain hygiene standards in all designated areas

* Report any defects or required maintenance

* Replace toilet rolls and cleaning materials as needed

**Working Conditions:**

* Normal PUTCO employment terms

* Shift work, including weekends and public holidays

**Core Competencies:**

* Knowledge of cleaning and bus maintenance support

* Strong communication and management abilities

* Integrity, honesty, attention to detail

* Willingness to work after hours

* Strong work ethic and efficiency
