### 🔍 Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

* Managing bookkeeping functions using **Pastel Accounting Software**

* Maintaining the **General Ledger** and **Chart of Accounts**

* Ensuring **accurate financial records** and documentation

* Supporting the **month-end and year-end close process**

* Preparing monthly **Profit & Loss** and **Balance Sheets**

* Assisting in budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance reporting

* Ensuring compliance with financial standards and internal controls

* Filing and maintaining all accounting documentation in an orderly manner

### ✅ Minimum Requirements

* **Honours Degree** in Financial Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration

* **4 years** of proven experience in financial accounting

* Strong knowledge of **GRAP** and **PFMA**

* Solid understanding of **business and financial principles**

* Excellent communication and administration skills

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
