### ✅ Minimum Requirements:

* **Grade 12** or equivalent qualification

* **Basic Rigging Course** & Skills Programme Certificate

* Willingness to complete required **MRTA training** (if not yet done):

  * Company Induction

  * TARP & Basic Fire Fighting

  * MR1.2 HSE Risk Management

### 🔧 Experience & Skills Needed:

* Minimum **1 year of mining experience**, especially in rigging

* Familiar with **basic rigging**, heavy lifting, and **working at heights**

* Skilled in **hand tools**, **power tools**, cutting, and grinding

* Knowledge of **intermediate rigging**, fasteners, and stored energy procedures

* Ability to operate **overhead cranes and lifting equipment (under 3 tons)**

### 🛠 Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with **rigging and slinging** activities safely and efficiently

* Support in **maintenance and inspection** of rigging equipment

* Ensure **safe loading/offloading** and hoisting of equipment

* Promote **clean workspaces** and adhere to safety protocols

* Operate lifting machinery under supervision and perform regular rigging checks
