### **Opportunities Available for Jobs2025**

The following positions are available as part of the **PYEI-BEEI** initiative:

**Education Assistants (EA):**

- Assist with teaching and learning in classrooms.  

- Roles include Curriculum Assistants, Reading Champions, e-Cadres (ICT integration), and Care & Support Assistants (psychosocial support).  

- **Requirements:** A minimum of a matric certificate, with preference for candidates with tertiary qualifications, especially in Education.

**General School Assistants (GSA):**

- Help with school infrastructure maintenance and cultural activities.  

- Roles include Handymen/Women and Sports & Enrichment Assistants (sports, arts, and cultural activities).  

- **Requirements:** No matric required.

### **Stipend & Benefits**

- **R4,000 per month** (less 1% UIF contribution).  

- **R30 for data** to support your work and learning.

### **Application Timelines**

- **Applications open:** 22 April 2025  

- **Applications close:** 09 May 2025 (23:59)  

- **Interviews:** 19 May - 31 May 2025  

- **Contract start date:** 02 June 2025

### **Eligibility Criteria for Vacancies2025**

- **SA citizens aged 18-34 years**  

- Must have a South African bank account  

- Must live within 5km of an urban school or 30km of a rural school  

- Youth from previous phases (I-IV) are encouraged to apply
