### **Minimum Qualifications & Skills Required**  

- **Education**:  

  - NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate/Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults)  

- **Qualifications**:  

  - **Blasting Certificate/Rock Breaking Level 3** (Essential)  

  - COMSOC 1 & 2 / SAMTRAC Certification  

  - **Degree, BTech, or National Diploma in Safety Management** (Advantageous)  

- **Experience**:  

  - Minimum **5 years of experience in the mining industry**  

- **Knowledge**:  

  - Accident Investigation (ICAT)  

  - Mine Health and Safety Act (Act 29 of 1996)  

  - Computer Literacy  

### **Legal & Health Requirements**  

- **Medically fit** to work in an underground mining environment  

- **Clear security screening record**
