**Location**: Barolong Boora Tshidi, Mahikeng  

**Salary**: R60,000 with Bonus Allowance and UIF

The **Barolong Boora Tshidi Traditional Council** is currently re-advertising a position for a **Gardener/Groundsman**. Suitable candidates are invited to apply, with previous applicants encouraged to reapply.

#### **Job Requirements**:

1. **Literacy**: Ability to read and write.

2. **Experience with Garden Tools**: Must be able to use garden machinery and tools effectively.

3. **Education**: Minimum of Std 8 (Grade 10).

4. **Document Submission**: A CV and ID (only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies).

5. **Residency**: Must be a resident within the Barolong Boora Tshidi jurisdiction area.

#### **Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

1. **Teamwork**: Work well within a team and remain calm under pressure.

2. **Premises Maintenance**: Cleaning of the office, community hall surroundings, and preparation of rental properties for new tenants.

3. **Event Support**: Assist with office cleaning and preparations for community meetings.

4. **Tool Management**: Responsible for the care and maintenance of garden tools.

5. **Waste Management**: Remove rubbish bins from around the premises.

6. **Gardening Duties**: Trimming and cutting trees, maintaining the garden's aesthetic appeal.

7. **Repair Work**: Repairing broken fences and other maintenance tasks as needed.
