## **Minimum Requirements:**  

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:  

✅ **Matric Certificate**  

✅ **At least 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience**  

✅ **Strong understanding of accounting principles**  

✅ **Experience handling both accounts payable and receivable**  

✅ **Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (working with spreadsheets and formulas)**  

✅ **Clear ITC and criminal record**  

✅ **Excellent attention to detail and time management skills**  

✅ **Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines**  

## **Key Responsibilities:**  

As a **Bookkeeper**, you will be responsible for:  

- Maintaining accurate financial records  

- Managing **Fixed Asset registers**, including additions, disposals, and depreciation  

- Processing **month-end journals and provisions**  

- Performing **monthly reconciliations** of general ledger control accounts  

- Handling **EFT payments**, from preparation to loading and processing  

- Assisting with **payroll-related duties**  

- Preparing **daily, weekly, and monthly financial spreadsheets**
