Saxonwold Primary School is seeking a dynamic and innovative **Foundation Phase Educator** to join our dedicated team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for passionate educators who are committed to providing quality education to young learners in the Foundation Phase.

### **Minimum Requirements:**

- **Registered on the Unemployed Educator Database**

- **Four-Year Teaching Degree in Foundation Phase** (Must be recognized and appropriate)

- **Full SACE Registration** (essential)

- **At least 3 years of experience teaching Afrikaans OR IsiZulu** to Primary School learners

- **In-depth Knowledge of CAPS Curriculum** for Grades R-3

- **Proficiency in English** (Reading, Writing, and Speaking)

- **Experience with Modern Teaching Practices**, including personalized learning, critical thinking, problem-solving, flipped classrooms, differentiated learning, and effective use of group work

- **Comfortable using Technology** in the classroom (e.g., Microsoft Office and Google Workspace)

- **Commitment to Professional Development**

### **Duties and Responsibilities:**

- Responsible for fulfilling the duties of a **PL1 Educator** according to **PAM**

- Commitment to subject-related activities and extra-mural events

- Implement effective teaching strategies that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and group work

- Incorporate school values into daily lessons

- Maintain high teaching standards and work towards achieving excellence in all instructional practices

- Ensure dedication to **extramural activities** that enhance students’ development

- **Continual Professional Development** to ensure teaching practices are up-to-date with modern educational standards
