## **Job Responsibilities**  

As a **Telecommunications & Video Conferencing Support Specialist**, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting AVBOB’s telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring **seamless communication across branches** and resolving technical issues efficiently. Your main duties will include:  


- **System Maintenance & Support**  

  - Ensure telecommunications systems are always online and fully functional.  

  - Conduct system health checks, monitor performance, and resolve any issues.  

  - Assist with installations, upgrades, and maintenance of PABX and VoIP systems.  


- **Call Centre & Branch Support**  

  - Provide daily technical support to AVBOB’s call centres and branches.  

  - Troubleshoot telecom-related issues and escalate critical incidents when necessary.  

  - Log and manage support tickets through the service desk.  


- **Infrastructure & Network Management**  

  - Ensure smooth integration of telecom systems with AVBOB’s ICT infrastructure.  

  - Monitor and maintain voice logging systems.  

  - Plan and execute telecommunications equipment rollouts for new branches.  


- **Risk & Budget Management**  

  - Identify and mitigate telecommunications-related risks.  

  - Assist in budgeting for ICT infrastructure and vendor service costs.  


- **Team Collaboration & Documentation**  

  - Train and mentor junior team members for faster issue resolution.  

  - Document system configurations, installations, and troubleshooting procedures.  

  - Work closely with vendors, internal departments, and external service providers.  


## **Qualifications & Experience**  

To qualify for this position, candidates must have:  

- **Education**: Relevant Degree in Networking and/or Telecommunications.  

- **Experience**:  

  - 3-5 years of experience in networking or telecommunications.  

  - Expertise in traditional PABX and IP telephony systems.  

  - Knowledge of **call centre software, enterprise networks, and premise cabling design**.
