## **Key Responsibilities**  

As a **Cash Processor**, you will be responsible for ensuring **efficient and accurate cash handling** in compliance with company policies and procedures. Your tasks may include:  

### **1. Receiving Cash**  

- Receive deposits and update the applicable systems.  

- Follow policies and procedures to minimize risks to the company and customers.  

### **2. Preparing and Sorting Cash**  

- Check and report damaged or tampered bags to the Team Controller.  

- Accurately process all deposits per **bank SLA and SOPs**.  

- Sort and count notes efficiently.  

- Balance per deposit and report discrepancies.  

### **3. Reconciliation of ACDP Deposits**  

- Validate rejected notes for **counterfeits, dye stains, and mutilation**.  

- Perform end-of-day **balancing and cash transfers** to vaults.  

### **4. Desktop Deposit Processing**  

- Ensure all deposits are **processed on the same day** and kept separate per customer.  

- Perform accurate **end-of-day reconciliation**.  

### **5. Coin Processing**  

- Handle bulk coin deposits following **SBV policies**.  

- Verify money bins, cut bags, fill wagons, and report discrepancies.  

### **6. Payroll and Change Handling**  

- Process payroll transactions within **bank SLA timeframes**.  

- Seal floats in drop-safe bags and manage payroll entries.  

### **7. Prepack/Treasury Duties**  

- Assist in **packing and unpacking ATM and bank cash**.  

- Maintain proper records of **bag and seal numbers**.  

### **8. Equipment Management & Compliance**  

- Follow **ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards**.  

- Maintain equipment by reporting defects and ensuring proper usage.  

- Support **ESG initiatives** and ensure compliance.

## **Minimum Requirements**  

### **Education & Training**  

- **Grade 12 (Matric) with Maths Literacy**.  

- Successfully completed **SBV Cash Processor training** (advantageous).  

### **Experience**  

- **6 months of cashier/teller experience** (preferred but not required).  

### **Skills & Competencies**  

- Strong **attention to detail** and **numerical accuracy**.  

- Ability to work under pressure in a **high-security environment**.  

- Good **communication skills** and ability to follow procedures.
