The **Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme** is a government-led initiative aimed at tackling youth unemployment by providing young South Africans with real-world workplace experience. ## **Work Readiness Programme – Why It Matters**  

Before placement, selected applicants will undergo a **Work Readiness Programme from March to May 2025**. This training is designed to equip candidates with essential workplace skills, preparing them for success in the competitive job market.  

By completing the **Work Readiness Programme**, candidates will significantly improve their chances of being selected for the YES Programme.

Successful applicants will attend **Work Readiness Training** at the following locations:

✅ **Gauteng:** Afrika Tikkun Services Centre, Randburg

To qualify for the **Volkswagen YES Programme 2025**, applicants must:  

✔️ Be **Black, Coloured, Indian, or Asian** (as per B-BBEE regulations)  

✔️ Be between **18 and 34 years old**  

✔️ Have a valid **South African ID document**  

✔️ Have **at least a Grade 12 qualification**  

✔️ Be **currently unemployed**  

✔️ Not be studying full-time  

✔️ Not have been permanently employed by a single employer for **more than one year**  

✔️ Not have participated in a **previous YES Programme**  

✔️ Be **highly motivated and eager for an opportunity**
