## **Job Title: Scraper Winch Driver (Grade B Lower)**  

### **Key Responsibilities:**  

As a **Scraper Winch Driver**, your duties will include but are not limited to:  

✅ Conducting daily **inspection, testing, and operation** of Scraper Winches to ensure functionality and safety.  

✅ Ensuring **Scraper Winches and attachments** are maintained in good working condition.  

✅ Operating **Scraper Winches** according to mine standards.  

✅ Assisting with **concrete winch bed installations and platform setups**.  

✅ Setting up **winch barricades** as per mine safety regulations.  

✅ Assisting the **Team Supervisor** in declaring areas safe before work commences.  

### **Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:**  

To qualify for this role, you must have:  

✔️ **Grade 10 or equivalent** qualification.  

✔️ **Competent B certificate** of competency.  

✔️ Certified **Scraper Winch training certificate**.  

✔️ **Proven track record** (Record of Service) in winch operations.  

✔️ **5 years' experience** in operating Scraper Winches.  

✔️ **Medical Certificate of Fitness** (to work in a mining environment).  

### **Additional Advantageous Qualifications:**  

➕ **First Aid Certificate** (preferred).  

➕ **Mano Winch experience** (advantageous).
