## **Job Details**

## **Key Requirements**  

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:  

✅ **Educational Qualifications:**  

- Minimum **B.Eng (Physical Metallurgy)** degree  

- **B.Eng (Hons – Welding)** will be an advantage  

✅ **Work Experience:**  

- At least **3 years’ experience in a refinery**  

- Minimum **3 years’ experience in Risk-Based Inspections (RBI)**  

- Experience in **turn-around (short shutdown) operations**  

- Familiarity with **ASME code**  

- **Refractory inspection** experience (working with external vendors)  

✅ **Additional Skills & Knowledge:**  

- **Coating and corrosion engineering** knowledge will be advantageous  

- **Basic project management skills** to coordinate activities  

- Strong **leadership and organizational** skills  

- Ability to work **independently and in a team**  

- Strong **interpersonal and communication** skills  

- Excellent **report writing** skills in English  

- Highly **organized and self-disciplined**  

- **Valid driver’s license (Code B/EB) with own transport**  

## **Job Responsibilities**  

As a **Metallurgical Engineer**, your primary role will involve **metallurgical and corrosion engineering tasks**, with some welding engineering duties. Key responsibilities include:  

✔ **Conducting metallurgical and welding engineering services on-site**  

✔ **Preparing detailed metallurgical reports**  

✔ **Assisting with Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) activities**  

✔ **Supporting Turn-Around (TA) / Shutdown planning and execution**
