## **Vacancy: LHD Driver**  

- **Job Title:** LHD Driver  

- **Grade:** B Lower Band  

- **Location:** Northam, North West  

- **Closing Date:** 17 February 2025  

### **Minimum Requirements**  

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:  

✔ **Grade 10 or equivalent** qualification  

✔ **Competent B Certificate of Competency**  

✔ **LHD Driver Certificate of Competency**  

✔ **2-3 years' experience as an LHD Driver** in an underground mining environment  

✔ Strong **knowledge of health and safety procedures**, policies, and compliance standards  

✔ Ability to **pass a Dover Assessment**  

✔ **Medical Certificate of Fitness** (mandatory)  

### **Key Responsibilities**  

- Maintain **high safety and operational standards** in underground working conditions  

- Support the **optimization of shaft operations**  

- Implement **best practices for safe loading and tipping** during ore transportation  

- Ensure **strict adherence to health and safety protocols**
