## **Key Responsibilities**
✔ **Live Streaming & Digital Production:**
- Set up, operate, and monitor **live streaming equipment** for EFF events, ensuring high-quality video and audio.
- Manage **multi-camera productions**, including video encoding, graphics, overlays, and lighting adjustments.
- Troubleshoot **technical issues** in real time to ensure smooth broadcasts.
✔ **Content Optimization & Multimedia Management:**
- Work closely with the **Content Producer and media team** to ensure seamless execution of digital productions.
- Optimize live streams for platforms such as **YouTube, Facebook, Twitter (X), and other digital media channels**.
- Maintain and upgrade **live streaming equipment** as necessary.
- Assist in **video editing and post-production** when required.
✔ **Technical Expertise & Innovation:**
- Stay updated with emerging **broadcasting technologies** and industry best practices.
- Ensure professional **audio-visual quality** for EFF leadership, guests, and political discussions.
- Manage **professional microphones, sound mixing, and lighting setups** for a polished presentation.
## **Required Qualifications & Experience**
✅ A qualification in **Film Production, Multimedia, Broadcasting, Audio-Visual Technology**, or a related field.
✅ Proven experience in **live streaming, video production, or digital broadcasting**.
✅ Proficiency in streaming software such as **OBS Studio, vMix, Wirecast, or similar platforms**.
✅ Strong knowledge of **video encoding, compression formats, and live sound mixing**.
✅ Ability to **troubleshoot technical issues under pressure** and adapt to fast-changing environments.
✅ Experience in setting up and managing **multi-camera productions, microphones, and professional lighting**.
✅ Familiarity with **social media platforms** and their live streaming capabilities.
✅ Understanding of **political communications** and the EFF's public engagements is an added advantage.
✅ Flexibility to work **irregular hours**, including weekends and evenings, as per event schedules.
