## **Key Responsibilities**  


### **1. IT Hardware Asset & Mobile Device Management**  

- Coordinate the **IT hardware asset and mobile device** functions across the organization.  

- Manage **user contracts (data, voice, SMS), contract renewals, and allocations**.  

- Configure IT hardware assets and mobile devices based on corporate standards.  

- Handle **SIM swaps, new SIM card activations, and terminations**.  

- Assign and track **IT hardware assets, mobile devices, and SIM cards** to the correct departments.  

- Oversee the **transfer of contracts from the company to personal ownership** as per policy.  

- Maintain an **updated asset register** by tagging all IT hardware assets and mobile devices.  

- Ensure **accurate tracking of asset movements**, including repairs, reallocations, and decommissioning.  

- Retrieve IT assets from exiting employees to ensure proper asset recovery.  

- Deploy and support **enterprise applications on mobile devices**.  

- Troubleshoot and escalate enterprise **handheld device issues** when necessary.  

- Work with vendors on **new product releases, pricing updates, and upgrades**.

### **2. IT Asset Usage Analysis & Reporting**  

- Perform **daily inventory scans** to monitor asset usage.  

- Generate reports on **mobile device provisioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management**.  

- Evaluate IT assets to ensure **optimal performance and cost efficiency**.  

- Identify and propose plans for **disposing of aging assets**.  

- **Decommission** unused IT assets and contracts as per company policy.  

- Maximize asset utilization to **improve ROI**.  

- Monitor **data and voice usage trends**, suggesting suitable packages for users.  

- Handle **user queries, device locks/unlocks, and security issues**.  

- Block stolen devices, update the asset register, and inform **mobile service providers**.  

- Participate in **smartphone upgrade projects and device testing**.

### **3. Financial & Compliance Management**  

- Evaluate vendor **pricing, contracts, and maintenance programs**.  

- Monitor **voice and mobile device bills**, identifying cost trends and potential abuse.  

- Act as the **primary contact for IT hardware asset purchases and upgrades**.  

- Validate and reconcile **monthly telecom invoices**.  

- Assist Finance with **billing analysis, disputes, and reconciliations**.  

- Optimize **data carrier plans** to reduce costs.

### **4. Administrative & Governance Support**  

- Log and analyze **IT asset trends and provide recommendations**.  

- Conduct **quarterly audits** to ensure reporting accuracy.  

- Maintain and update **Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs)**.

- Ensure **IT hardware and mobile device policies** are enforced.  

- Assist in **developing policies** for device management, deployment, and reallocation.

- Liaise with service providers for **mobile device upgrades, SIM swaps, and handset replacements**.

- Follow up on **device repairs and new orders** weekly.  

- Work closely with Finance to track **invoice processing and payments**.

## **Required Qualifications & Experience**  


### **📌 Minimum Experience:**  

✅ **4 years** in an **IT Service Desk or Call Centre** role (preferably in telecommunications).  

✅ **2 years** in an **ITIL-aligned asset management** environment.  


### **🎓 Education & Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory):**  

✔️ **Business Intelligence Certificate** (Advantageous).  

✔️ **Relevant IT Diploma/Degree, MCSE, or MCITP**.  

✔️ **ITIL Certification** (Advantageous).
