## **Key Responsibilities**  

### **1. Research & Analysis**  

- Stay ahead of global cybersecurity threats and trends.  

- Provide strategic insights to enhance SBV’s security measures.  

- Assist in implementing technology transformation initiatives.  

### **2. Security Monitoring & Incident Response**  

- Conduct security and vulnerability assessments.  

- Investigate potential security breaches and recommend mitigation strategies.  

- Perform log correlation and forensic analysis for security incidents.  

- Monitor networks for unauthorized access, ensuring compliance with security policies.  

### **3. Security Awareness & Training**  

- Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness programs.  

- Train employees on best security practices, policies, and threat prevention.  

- Create guides and knowledge base documentation for internal use.  

### **4. Compliance & Risk Management**  

- Ensure compliance with **POPIA, PAIA, and ISO 27001** regulations.  

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.  

- Support security reviews with vendors and third parties.  

- Assist in business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies.  

### **5. Security Implementation & Optimization**  

- Deploy and maintain security tools such as **firewalls, encryption protocols, and intrusion detection systems**.  

- Assist in automating security processes for improved efficiency.  

- Monitor cybersecurity configurations, ensuring adherence to best practices.  

## **Minimum Requirements**  

### **Work Experience**  

- **2 years** in an Information Security or Cybersecurity role.  

- **2 years** of IT administration experience.  

- Experience with **firewalls, malware defense, cloud security (MS Intune, O365 Security), vulnerability assessment tools (Nessus, Nmap), and endpoint security** is advantageous.  

### **Education & Certifications**  

- **Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or related field**.  

- **Relevant industry certifications** (CISSP, CEH, Security+, ISO 27001, GIAC, CHFI, etc.) are a plus.
