### **About the Position**  

**Start Date:** April 2025  

**Position Type:** Governing Body Vacancy  

**Location:** Laerskool Hangklip, Queenstown, Eastern Cape  

We are looking for a **highly skilled, experienced, and enthusiastic Remedial Educator** to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in **remedial education** and a passion for supporting learners with diverse educational needs.  

## **Minimum Requirements**  

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:  

✔ **B.Ed Degree** in Foundation or Intermediate Phase  

✔ **Remedial Education Qualification**  

✔ **SACE Registration** (South African Council for Educators)  

✔ Proven **experience working with remedial learners**  

✔ Passion for remedial teaching and commitment to learner success  

✔ Ability to work independently and use own initiative  

✔ Willingness to learn and adapt to **high standards of remedial teaching**  

✔ Strong **communication and interpersonal skills**  

✔ Ability to work under pressure and collaborate within a team  

✔ **Computer literacy** (Google Suite knowledge will be an advantage)
