## **Job Opportunity: Driver/Messenger**

### **Role Summary**  

As a **Driver/Messenger**, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transport services, including the collection and delivery of mail, parcels, and documents across the Botswana Life network. Additionally, you will chauffeur board members and visitors as required.  

### **Key Responsibilities**  

- Transport visitors, **board members, and executive team (EXCO)** to various destinations.  

- Submit tax clearance requests for claims at **Botswana Unified Revenue Service (BURS)**.  

- Process payments for utilities at **Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) and Water Utilities Corporation (WUC)**.  

- Monitor vehicle conditions, report wear and tear, and advise on necessary replacements.  

- Dispatch and deliver mail, parcels, and merchandise to external stakeholders and company branches.  

- Collect and distribute newspapers.  

- Inspect company vehicles after usage by staff, ensuring proper use of logbooks and vehicle records.  

- Receive and distribute mail and parcels from couriers or branches to staff.  

- Collect, sort, and distribute internal mail within Botswana Life offices.  

### **Qualifications & Experience**  

- Minimum **BGCSE/O Levels** qualification.  

- **Valid driver’s license**.  

- At least **2 years of experience** as a driver.  

- Knowledge of **Department of Road Transport procedures**.  

- Understanding of **company transport policies and business rules**.
