## **Key Responsibilities**
As a **Receiving Clerk**, you will play a vital role in ensuring that deliveries are handled efficiently and accurately. Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Coordinating with administrative and inventory teams to track expected deliveries
✅ Accepting shipments, signing delivery paperwork, and unloading packages
✅ Inspecting deliveries for quality and quantity, ensuring items match invoices
✅ Addressing supplier errors and managing returns of unsatisfactory goods
✅ Labeling and organizing received stock in designated storage areas
✅ Delegating tasks and enforcing company procedures among receiving staff
✅ Maintaining accurate records and assisting the inventory department
✅ Creating and managing employee schedules, considering peak business days such as **delivery days, month-end, and holidays**

## **Requirements & Skills**
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
✔️ **Experience** as a Receiving Clerk or similar role (advantageous)
✔️ Forklift operation skills (advantageous)
✔️ Proficiency in **computer-based data entry**
✔️ Knowledge of **food safety and health regulations**
✔️ Basic math and record-keeping abilities
✔️ Strong **attention to detail** and ability to work **independently or in a team**
✔️ Excellent **communication and interpersonal skills**
✔️ **Minimum qualification:** Matric certificate (**Retail Management Diploma/Degree is an advantage**)
