#### **Position Overview**  

**Role:** DC Analyst  

**Location:** Cape Town  

**Reporting to:** Operations Analytics Manager  

---

#### **Key Responsibilities**  

- Develop and run operational reports to track **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**.  

- Create exception-based reports and drive **process improvement initiatives**.  

- Validate and troubleshoot reports and performance metrics to ensure accuracy.  

- Design effective dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate actionable insights.  

- Analyze operational performance, test hypotheses, and provide strategic recommendations.  

- Identify operational gaps and suggest improvements through data-driven insights.  

- Lead workshops to define business requirements and assist stakeholders in prioritizing tasks.

#### **Qualifications and Skills**  

**Education & Experience:**  

- **Bachelor’s Degree** in Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain/Logistics, Computer Science, or similar, with **3+ years** of relevant experience.  

- OR a Higher Certificate with **6+ years** of data and analytics experience in a fast-paced environment.  

**Technical Expertise:**  

- Proficient in **SQL** (Google BigQuery preferred), dashboard tools like **Looker Studio**, **Power BI**, or **Tableau**.  

- Familiarity with **Python** and **automation tools** (advantageous).  

- Advanced skills in **Excel/Google Sheets** and handling large datasets.  

**Industry Knowledge:**  

- Experience in **e-commerce**, **retail**, or **supply chain** is beneficial.  

**Attributes:**  

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.  

- Solutions-oriented with a high energy and can-do attitude.  

- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
