## Job Opportunity: Quality Inspector  

**Location**: Eastern Chrome Mines, Limpopo, South Africa  

**Department**: Technical Support Services

### Key Responsibilities  

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the quality standards at Eastern Chrome Mines. Your responsibilities include:  


- Reporting to the **Controller (Quality) Senior** to enhance operational efficiency across all Eastern Chrome Mines.  

- Prolonging the lifespan of repairable items by ensuring the highest quality standards in repairs.  

- Enforcing cost-saving measures, including vendor evaluations, to optimize expenses.  

- Tracking and controlling equipment sent offsite for repairs.  

- Supporting the overall business management functions of the engineering department.  

- Ensuring compliance with Glencore’s **HSEC (Health, Safety, Environment, and Community) system**, legal standards, and company policies.

### Candidate Profile  


To excel in this role, you will need:  


#### **Qualifications**:  

- **N2 Technical Qualification**.  

- Trade certification as a **Millwright** or **Auto Electrician**.  


#### **Experience**:  

- A minimum of **3 years’ experience** in **TMMs (Trackless Mobile Machinery)**.  

- Comprehensive knowledge of mining equipment used at **Glencore – Eastern Chrome Mines**.  


#### **Skills and Knowledge**:  

- Strong understanding of relevant maintenance systems and processes.  

- Excellent communication and administrative skills.  

- Proficiency in **MS Office**, **SAP**, and **Project Management tools**.  

- Ability to read **PnIDs**, auto electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics.  

- Knowledge of **PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)**.  

- Demonstrated ability to perform risk assessments effectively.
