STA Coal Mining Company is looking for skilled **Miners** with underground coal mining experience. If you have a valid **Blasting Certificate** and **trackless mining expertise**, this role is for you!
### **Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:**
✔ **Grade 12 Certificate**
✔ **Valid Driver’s License**
✔ **Proficient in English**
✔ **No Criminal Record**
✔ **Medical Fitness Certificate** (to be obtained from company clinic/doctor)
✔ **First Aid & Emergency Response Certification** (advantageous)
✔ **Gas/Flameproof Certificate**
✔ **MS Office Skills** (Excel, Word, Outlook) – an advantage
✔ **Solid knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act**
✔ **Valid Blasting Certificate for Underground Fiery Mines**
### **Experience Required:**
✔ **5+ years’ experience** in underground trackless coal mining (**board and pillar method**)
✔ **Proficiency in CM (Continuous Miners) & Drill and Blast**
✔ Experience with **roof bolters, LHD, shuttle cars, conveyor belts, and associated machinery**
✔ **Ability to read and interpret mining plans/schedules**
✔ **Strong leadership and teamwork skills**
✔ **Commitment to safety and compliance with mining regulations**
