# Auditions Open: SABC is Searching for Voiceover Artists

 

Are you a talented voiceover artist looking for your big break? Here’s your chance to work with one of South Africa’s biggest broadcasters, SABC! The organization is currently holding auditions to discover skilled voiceover artists fluent in South Africa’s diverse languages.  

Here’s everything you need to know to secure your spot:  

## **Who Can Apply?**  

To be eligible for the audition, you must meet the following requirements:  

- Be **over 18 years old**.  

- Hold a **valid South African ID**.  

- Possess a **Matric certificate**.  

- **Reside in or around Johannesburg**, or be able to travel to the city Monday to Friday, between **8 AM and 4 PM**.  

- Be proficient in one or more of these languages:  

  - **English**  

  - **IsiZulu**  

  - **IsiXhosa**  

  - **Setswana**  

  - **Afrikaans**  

  - **Siswati**  

  - **Isindebele**  

  - **Sesotho**  

  - **Sepedi**  

  - **Xitsonga**  

  - **Tshivenda**  

## **How to Submit Your Audition**  

1. Record a **30-second voiceover clip** showcasing your skills and fluency in your chosen language(s).  

2. Email your audition clip to **rapauditions@sabc.co.za**.  

## **Important Deadline**  

All submissions must be sent by **January 31st, 2025**. Late entries will not be considered.
