## **About the Role**

As a **Warehouse Assistant**, your primary focus will be to ensure efficient and accurate operations within our parts warehouse. This role is crucial to delivering exceptional service to our customers while optimizing aftermarket profitability.

### **Key Responsibilities**

#### **Inbound Operations**

- Oversee and ensure accurate receiving of goods according to Volvo procedures.

- Verify that all parts match documentation and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

- Record discrepancies in the GDS system and document issues with parts (e.g., incorrect descriptions or part numbers).

- Bin parts based on system allocations, ensuring inventory accuracy.

#### **Outbound Operations**

- Process customer order requests, ensuring correct picking, packing, and distribution.

- Update systems promptly after authorization to maintain real-time accuracy.

- Ensure workshop Technicians receive parts promptly for smooth operations.

#### **Credit Notes**

- Validate and file credit notes in sequence for processing.

- Follow proper protocols for returns (e.g., electrical parts exclusions).

#### **Stock Control**

- Conduct daily perpetual stock counts and bin verifications.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies before system updates.

#### **Housekeeping & Health and Safety**

- Maintain a clean, secure, and organized warehouse environment.

- Ensure compliance with Volvo's health and safety protocols.

#### **Exchange Parts**

- Manage physical receiving, storage, and return preparation of exchange parts.

- Ensure proper labeling and packing of parts for supplier returns.

## **Who We’re Looking For**

### **Minimum Requirements**

- **Education:** Matric/Grade 12.

- **Experience:** Diploma in Warehouse Management or at least three years of warehousing experience.
