## **Key Responsibilities**  

### **Leadership and Strategy**  

- Lead the Stock Department to improve efficiency in stock-related financial processes.  

- Develop and implement strategies to ensure accurate stock management and reporting.  

### **Financial and Stock Reconciliation**  

- Reconcile General Ledger accounts weekly and monthly per IFRS standards.  

- Ensure the integrity of stock-related transactions in RMS, BI, and Oracle systems.  

- Manage stock clearing accounts and align warehouse stock quantities with RMS.  

### **Data Integrity and Reporting**  

- Maintain the accuracy of gross profit worksheets and stock-related reports.  

- Resolve stock integrity queries with stakeholders such as IT, Merchandise, and Supply Chain teams.  

- Generate accurate stock provisions for various business units, ensuring compliance with IFRS.  

### **Internal Controls and Audit Readiness**  

- Ensure Oracle sub-ledgers meet audit requirements.  

- Comply with internal control best practices, including Control Risk Self Assessment (CRSA).  

- Approve journals and accruals accurately and promptly.

- Proficiency in Oracle financial systems, Excel, and reporting tools like QlikView.

### **Qualifications and Experience**  

- **Education:** B.Com or equivalent.  

- **Experience:**  

  - 4+ years of management experience in an accounting environment.  

  - Articles experience is advantageous.  

  - Comprehensive understanding of IFRS and accounting principles.
